Photosynthesis – How does it work?

A plant’s leaves contain chlorophyll. This green substance allows chemical reactions to occur. These reactions use energy captured from the sun and carbon dioxide taken from the air to make the food plants need to survive and grow.

The result of photosynthesis is oxygen. Lucky for us humans!
